The Rental Low Speed Vehicle also known as “LSV” will be dropped off between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM depending on traffic. We make every effort to deliver your cart in the morning (cart pick up, inspection, clean up can take longer during peak season). We thank you for your patience. You do not have to be present for cart delivery or pick up. Cart must be easily accessible and not blocked in any way for pick up. The Rental LSV will be picked up at the same location as it was delivered no later than 11:00 AM on return date and must be fully charged.
Yes. During the booking process there are packages that you select from. There are 2 options: 24 hours or a 2-day minimum rental period. Some carts are available with same day options... just give us a call to see if this available for your day.
Some RESORTS do not allow street legal golf cart rentals on their property. Please ask the property manager. Please verify with your vacation property manager that they permit street legal golf cart rentals. Towing of the LSV is the responsibility of the renter. In the event that the cart must be returned after hours you will be charged a $150 tow fee and a $100 recharging fee.
How often should I charge my cart?
We recommend you charge your electric cart each night with the extension cord and charging cord provided or more often depending on usage. Please charge the cart on the last night of your rental so it will be ready for the next family. Failure to do so will incur a $100.00 recharging fee.
Where is the key?
Each cart has a lock box with the key inside. We will text you the code upon delivery. Please return the key to the lockbox on the last day of your rental. If the key is not included, there is a $85.00 charge.
What if I lose the key?
If this happens, shoot us a text and we can bring another to you. There is a $85.00 charge for lost keys.
Where can I drive my cart?
Our street legal golf carts can be driven on any road with a posted speed limit of 35 MPH or less. You may not drive the cart on HWY 98, sidewalks, or on the beach. No driving in the sand as this will damage the motors. Maximum speed of the cart is 25 mph, and this depends on many factors.
How far in advance can we book a cart?
Depending on availability and delivery load you could have one the same day. To hold your cart, it is best to make a reservation. You may reserve up to one year out for future visits.
What day should I start and end my rental?
We recommend starting your rental on your check in day in the afternoon and ending it the morning, you check out. If the cart is ready for pick up and you are checking out early, just shoot us a text so we can remove it from the property and secure it. We deliver Monday through Saturday and strive to make all deliveries by 4pm. If you are not at the property during delivery, we can text a picture of your cart once delivered along with a unique code for the lockbox.
Is there a delivery charge?
Based on your location, Delivery and Pick up is $35 in most areas. Some areas like 32407, have a pick up location at 323 Alf Coleman Rd. Panama City Beach by appointment. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call and someone on staff will assist. If picking up please use 323 Alf Coleman Rd Panama City Beach, FL 32407 as the delivery address.
What if I cancel my cart?
There are no refunds once the cart has been delivered. You may cancel your reservation up to Fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled delivery of the LSV forfeiting your $100.00 reservation fee and credit card processing fees. You will be charged the full amount of the reservation if you cancel at any time less than 14 days prior to the scheduled delivery date. No refund of the reservation deposit will be made for any cancellations, regardless of the reason. All cancellations must be in writing by email and must identify the authorized renter and dates.
What about weather issues?
We cannot control the weather and our standard refund policy applies to all reservations. Bookings cancelled more than 14 days prior to delivery will receive a full refund less reservation fee. If we need to recall your cart due to unexpected weather, we will extend a prorated refund for used days.
What if we want to extend our reservation?
Please call us if you decide you would like to keep it longer than your reservation. It may already be reserved by another family but if not, we would be happy to let you rent for a few more days if it’s available.
What are your payment terms?
We accept VISA, MASTER CARD, and Discover credit cards. We do not accept cash or checks. Please note that we put a $300 hold for incidentals. We release the hold 2-3 business days after the rental date.
Can anyone drive the golf cart after I rent it?
No, only drivers that are on the contract and are 21+ years with valid driver’s license on file with BLUE SKY Carts at the time of rental are able to drive.
What if I need the vehicle towed?
If this is due to mechanical failure, we will tow at no charge. If renter failed to charge the vehicle there will be a $150 towing charge. To avoid this please charge golf cart nightly as recommended or more often as needed.
What if there is damage to the cart?
We realize that accidents happen. The person that books the reservation/driver is responsible for all damages as outlined on the rental agreement and must be reported. A minimal charge of $500 will be charged to card on file.
